Check Point celebrates 15th anniverary with a 24-hour freebie

Check Point Software Technologies is letting people download ZoneAlarm Pro 2009 free until 2pm UK time tomorrow.

The security software company is celebrating its 15th anniversary with the 24-hour promotion which went live at 2pm today.

Check Point ZoneAlarm Pro protects PCs at the operating system level to give security against malicious software such as worms, viruses, spyware, Trojan Horses, rootkits and botnets.

Laura Yecies, vice president and general manager for Check Point’s ZoneAlarm consumer division said: “Although many consumers may be familiar with a firewall conceptually, most are not proactively implementing firewall protection to insure their safety and security on their personal computers.”

The offer, which represents a £25 value, includes a full year license for one PC, and is limited to only one download per customer.
