We’ve joined forces with electronics giant Sony to offer our readers a truly spectacular prize. Correctly answer the question below and you could be the proud owner of a brand new 40in Sony BRAVIA high-definition LCD TV, worth more than £1,700!

Part of the new W series, the BRAVIA KDL-40W2000 is designed to take your favourite TV programmes, games and movies to another level. Compatible with video up to 1080p the highest of high-definition formats this set goes beyond the HD-ready specification to deliver a ‘Full HD’ viewing experience.

The 16:9 widescreen LCD panel has a response time of just 8ms, enough to keep fast-moving movies and sports crystal-clear, while a 178-degree viewing angle ensures everyone in the room can see the action.

The TV also features Sony’s patented BRAVIA Engine image processing, and Live Colour Creation to keep colours rich, skintones realistic and detail pin sharp.

The BRAVIA is ideal for getting the most out of the new Blu-ray disc players, high-definition games consoles and services such as Sky HD. The set includes two HDMI sockets for connection to the latest devices, plus component and VGA connectors for even more HD sources.

Two Scart sockets and built-in digital Freeview and analogue tuners take care of standard TV and video. As you’d expect from Sony, the stylish KDL-40W2000 sounds as good as it looks.

Built-in stereo speakers offer Dolby Pro Logic, Virtual Dolby and TruSurround XT options to ensure you get great audio from any source, and you get a headphone jack and phono audio outputs to connect to a separate amplifier or receiver.

A smart table-top stand finishes off this impressive package, although the screen can be easily placed on a wall using a standard VESA wall-mounting kit.
